your summer hiatus and joining the rest of us who spent a pretty-
By way introduction, I am Jan Vejraska. (yes, rhymes with Nebraska, a silent “j”), your new president. We hail from Columbus, NE. I spent most of my career in human resources management with Becton Dickinson (BD) there. My Husband Jim & I retired early and moved to Sun City West in 1998. We still have family and friends in Nebraska and try to visit during the fall (never the winter don't miss that ice and snow.) We continue to be very active BIG RED fans....once a Cornhusker ... Always a Cornhusker. Jim and I have been very active in the SCW Posse. Both are past Commanders, duty officers, dispatchers, traffic instructors and I am now Public Information OFFICE. Yes, the Newspaper articles you see about the posse are from me. I also enjoy playing bridge and golf. I”m a past president of the SCW Connections Club and see many of you there.
We have fun activities lined up this fall and winter. We are hopeful that you will
come and visit with your past (not old) friends and make new acquaintances. We encourage
you to bring guests who may be interested in joining our club. Dues are only $5 per
person per year and we do have the distinction of being one of the largest and most
active state clubs in the valley. Our membership is open to residents of the Sun
Cities and other west valley locations. “Pay us a visit” -

We also VERY happy to welcome our new membership Chairman, Eri Siburg, to the staff. He is a very knowledgeable computer person. We feel very fortunate to have the use of his expertise
